This time the setting is a Chicago airport, but the project may be held in detention by the possibility of an actors’ strike

A modern-day version of The Breakfast Club is in the pipeline. Entitled Bumped, the plot revolves around five twentysomethings – among them, a corporate shark, a musician and a flirt – who get bumped from a flight and end up stranded at Chicago’s O’Hare airport. Just like in the 80s teenage hit, the characters in this new adaptation end up knowing one another when they would not be friends under normal circumstances.
