A Music Fan Enlists 80s Vocalists’ to Help Bring Back Rock

Resurgence of Rock

Ken Savage was a huge fan of all the great rock songs that came out of the 70s and 80s.  He had pretty much worn out all of his old albums and CDs and wanted something new.  Not finding anything in today’s music scene, he decided to take matters into his own hands.  He sat down and wrote the lyrics to a bunch of 80s style rock songs, but updated them to modern times.  He then convinced some rockers straight out of the 80s music scene to help him bring them to life.  Terry Ilous of XYZ, Paul Shortino from RoughCutt, and the fabulous Lorraine Lewis from Femme Fatale all contributed to putting together an album appropriately named: Resurgence of Rock.  Here is the story:
