Missing Persons’ lead singer charged with animal cruelty in New Hampshire

Police in the town of Ossipee have charged Dale Bozzio with three misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty.  When police arrived at her home, they found cats in very bad shape, living in and surrounded by filth with some already dead animals. A dozen cats eventually had to be put down. Bozzio pleaded not guilty and has claimed that a friend was supposed to be watching them, but never showed up.

Bozzio was the lead singer for Missing Persons, who were a MTV favorite in the early 80s. Their hits included “Words”, “Destination Unknown”, and “Windows”.
