
The Human League, one of England’s first new wave bands, have been down on their luck in the new millennium. All but forgotten as an ’80s nostalgia act, their last record, 2001’s Secret , failed to find an audience. However, luck may change for the pioneering Sheffield band, as they’ve signed to Wall of Sound records, a respected UK-based label whose roster of artists boasts the likes of Grace Jones, Shy Child, Röyksopp, and Soulwax.
